No Parking During Snow Emergency


Declaration of snow emergency. A snow emergency shall exist within the village whenever two inches of snow or more has accumulated within the village and shall continue until such time as the streets have been cleared to the curb.

Parking after snowfall. Effective November 1 until April 15 annually, no vehicle shall be parked on the residential streets of the village of Stillman Valley for the first 24 hours after each snowfall of two inches or more. Except parking shall be allowed on the streets at 112 E. Wilson, 122 E. Wilson and 122 S. Walnut.

Parking in the business district. On the blocks of N. Walnut from Roosevelt to Washington and Main Street from School Street to N. Maple, it shall be unlawful, during a snow emergency, for any person to stop, stand, or park any vehicle between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 8:00 a.m.
